Privacy notice (draft)
Who is responsible
⟦Controller: the company being registered on 12 October 2026 — legal name, registered address, registration number and contact address to be added. No name or address is given here until it exists.⟧
What AnonyVPN stores
- An ID for your AnonyID that only AnonyVPN uses (a "pairwise" ID: other Anony Labs apps cannot link it to theirs).
- Your plan (Free or Premium) and, for Premium, its end date.
- For each device: the name you gave it, its WireGuard public key, its tunnel addresses (10.66.x.x and fd66:66:66::x) and the date you added it.
- On the Free plan only: one number per month — how much data your devices used in total this calendar month (UTC), so the monthly data allowance can be applied. The previous month's number is deleted when the new month starts. Premium use is not counted.
- While you are signed in: a session record (a hash of the cookie value, your AnonyVPN ID, the AnonyID sign-in session ID so "Sign out everywhere" works, and the expiry), for up to 30 days.
What AnonyVPN does not store
- No traffic logs, no connection logs, no DNS logs, no record of which sites you visit.
- No IP addresses of users: the website keeps no access log, and the app never receives your IP address.
- Not your device's private key: it is made in your browser and never sent to us.
- The Free plan's speed limit is applied on the VPN server itself, by your device's tunnel addresses: nothing about your traffic is measured or reported for it.
- Our VPN servers keep WireGuard's handshake state in memory only (needed to route your packets) and report to us only totals (load, number of devices, number of devices active in the last 3 minutes) and, for devices on the Free plan, how many bytes each used since the previous report. We add that to your one monthly total and do not keep the report itself: no per-device history, no times, nothing about where the data went.
Deleting your data
Removing a device deletes it at once and takes it off every server within about 15 seconds. Deleting your AnonyID (at account.anonylabs.com) deletes everything AnonyVPN holds for you.
⟦Legal basis, retention of payment records, processors (hosting providers per server location), international transfers, your rights and the supervisory authority: to be completed with the company's details before launch.⟧
